National Football League (NFL) is  professional football league of America. NFL is among one of the four major professional sports league in North America.

National Football League(NFL) consists of 32 teams. These teams are equally divided between American Football Conference (AFC) and National Football Conference(NFC). It is the highest professional level sport in the world.

NFL runs for seventeen weeks. This Fantasy football league starts the week after the labor day and continues till a week after Christmas. Each team plays sixteen games and every team has one bye week. Out of the 32 teams, 6 teams from each conference are selected. Among these six teams, 4 teams are division winners are rest of the two are wild card teams.

These teams compete with each other in NFL Playoffs, a single elimination tournament and at last Super bowl which is played between the champions of AFC and NFC.  Vince Lombardi Trophy is awarded to the winners of Super Bowl. Various other trophies are given to individual players and coaches to recognize their performance.

During regular season of NFL each team is allowed to have 53 players out of which only 46 are active on game days.

At present, Green Bay Packers is the team with most championships. It has won 13 championships. The team Pittsburg Beetles is the team with most Super Bowl championships. It has won six.

NFL  Playoff Schedule:

The regular season of National Football League is at its end. The NFL Playoffs started on Saturday.

The Colts, with a dramatic comeback, pulled off win over Chiefs. Sainted beat Eagles for their first playoff.

On this Sunday, other two wild card matchups of NFL will compete. First match will be between  the San Diego Chargers and Cincinnati Bengals, and second will be between  the Green Bay Packers and San Francisco 49ers.

Let’s take a look at both the games:

AFC Wild Card Games

(6) San Diego Chargers vs. (3) Cincinnati Bengals

At: Paul Brown Stadium, Cincinnati

Game Time: 1:05 p.m. ET

TV: CBS.

Game Preview:

Holding a 8-0 record, Bengal has not lost at its home this season. Bengals are 11-5 on  season. On the other hand, San Diego Chargers are 9-7.  For instance, heading into the 17th week, Diego Chargers were not in the control of their own destiny. All they could do was just win and  pray for some other teams to lose.

Now lets see which team will win.

NFC Wild Card Game 2

(5) San Francisco 49ers vs. (4) Green Bay Packers

At: Lambeau Field, Green Bay

Game Time: 4:40 PM

TV: FOX

Game Preview:

Over the past, both  these teams have become very familiar with each other. Last year, San Francisco 49ers eliminated the Green Bay Packers from the postseason.

Packers wanted to take the revenge. But unfortunately they failed in the week 1 of season 2013 of NFL.

Now the next NFL match will be at the homeland of Packers. They can use this opportunity very well to avenge. Now let’s see what happens.
